5-spice is well known in Chinese cooking for it’s sweet, sour, bitter, savory, and salty. But ours has one more element - heat. Not too much, just a little heat from our scotch bonnet pepper. And yes, it has more than 5 ingredients! Try it on chicken, eggs, beef or pork. It’s also good on roasted nuts, soups or anything you can imagine.

This blend has a little bit of Silicon dioxide as a non-caking ingredient. Also known as silica, and is a natural, most commonly found in nature as quartz and in various living organisms. The vast majority of our blends do not need anti-caking ingredients.
