Farmers Market Jalapeno Pepper Sauce

One of the strangest jalapeno types is the farmer’s market jalapeño pepper. The Farmer’s Jalapeno, also known as the potato jalapeño, is a Capsicum annuum pepper variety. It is known for its extreme corking that gives the peppers an appearance similar to cantaloupe. They are quite large for jalapeños, with some peppers measuring over 4″ long!

We have been growing this pepper for the past several years due to its fun appearance, abundant harvests and naturally garlicy flavor.

This is a great mild sauce to add to your favorite foods, such as meats, soups, baked potatoes, stuffed bell peppers and an Herban Farm favorite omelets.
